Food Delivery in Train at Nanded
Hazur Sahib Nanded commonly known as Nanded is an “A category” railway station located in Nanded, a town in the state of Maharashtra. The railway station falls under Nanded railway division formed few years earlier in 2013. Before the formation of Nanded division, the station was functioning under Hyderabad division.
The station falls under South Central Railway (SCR) and Nanded is one of the most important railway stations of SCR. The station is constructed with facilities such as lifts and escalators. The station has waiting rooms, PRS window and parking facilities. There are also refreshments rooms, tea/coffee stalls; snacks corners are also available at the station. The station falls in Secunderabad –Manmad line. The railway station is highly used and crowded by the passengers/travelers. The resting place of 10th Sikh Guru Gobind Singh, Known as the Takht Sachkhand Shri Hazur Abchalnagar Sahib Gurudwara attracts visitors from the country and outside the country. That’s why this station is very crowded and records almost 39,000 passengers’ footfall every day.
The station has total four platforms with seven railway tracks. A number of major trains halt at the station. Nanded junction is also home to some of the trains originating from this station. Total 55 Trains halt at the Nanded junction on the other hand total 25 trains originate and terminate at the station. The station is well connected with all the metro cities of India. There are regular trains from Nanded to Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai. It is also connected with the major cities of India such as Patna, Hyderabad, Vishakhapatnam, Jaipur, Pune, Ahmadabad, Rameshwaram and other cities. There are more than 90 regular trains and almost 52 weekly/no-daily trains cross the station.
About the City:
Nanded city is also the centre of administration of Nanded district. The city is located on the north bank of Godavari River and home to the Sikh pilgrims. The 10th Guru of Sikh, Guru Gobind Singh had finally settled in this city and also passed his “Guruship” to the “Guru Grantha sahib” before his death in this city only. The Gurudwara “Takht Sachkhand Shri Hazur Abchalnagar” is a major attraction of the city especially for the Sikh Pilgrims.
