The train starts its journey by departing from the Bangalore City Junction at 11:00. The train crosses 21 stations in which some of the major station namely Bangarapet, Katpadi Junction, Chittor, Tenali Junction, Tirupati  and Renigunta Junction. The train covers 691kms of distance in its first day of journey. After departing from the Bangalore city junction, it crosses eight stations and reaches Katpadi Junction at 15:25 for five minutes. The Katpadi railway station is located in the city of Vellore, Tamil Nadu. The food at Tamil Nadu is entirely different from the taste of the other region.
