Railway Protection Force (RPF), South Western Railway (SWR) took the initiative and implemented the operation Meri Saheli, which launched in November 2020. Key Achievements of SWR in 2025

 

RPF personnel engaged with 2,08,869 solo women passengers across 4,869 trains, extending support and ensuring their journeys remained safe and comfortable.

Currently, 10 Meri Saheli teams, comprising 25 RPF staff members, are actively deployed under the initiative in the South Western Railway (SWR) zone.

 

The teams assisted by:
