About the location: Begumpet 
Begumpet is a suburb area of Secunderabad in the capital region of Hyderabad. The place is Named after the daughter of Sixth Nizam of Hyderabad whose name was Basheer Unnisa Begum. This area was given to the Begum as a part of Dowry in her wedding ceremony. The meaning of Begumpet is “Place of Begum”.

Initially Begumpet was a small suburban located between the Hyderabad and Secunderabad cities but later on the city emerged as a major commercial and residential suburb of the city Hyderabad.
