Food Delivery in Train at Bombay Central (Terminus)
Mumbai central station is very important railway connection serving the city Mumbai. In Mumbai 2 kinds of railway lines function, one is central Line and another is a Western railway line. At the Mumbai central terminus the central and western railways both function together. A separate local station which serves only western railways is called Mumbai central Local station. The station is built within the Mumbai central terminus. Both stations are connected for the easy travel of the passengers at the station.
There are a total of 9 railway platforms are currently functioning at the station. There are a total of 5 platforms dedicated to the central /national trains coming from different locations of India. The Station falls in westerns railway zone of Indian railways and it is administered by the Mumbai Western railway division. Previously the station was used for the local trains transportation only, later after the built up and up-gradation of the station was done for the establishment of new station terminus. To distinguish the station from local to Terminus the new railway extension is named as Mumbai central railway terminus. The eastern part of the station is dedicated for the outbound trains consisting of 5 railway platforms.
There is a huge railway reservation counter is built in the premises of the station for the ticket reservation facility for the passengers. There are many unreserved ticket windows has been also installed inside the premises for ticketing purposes. The station is built with all the modern facilities. There are many trains form several cities of India run to this station. There are many Duranto, express, Rajdhani and mail trains run from the several cities to Mumbai central terminus. Trains from Indore, Gujarat, Surat, Rajkot, New Delhi, Ahmadabad, Kota, Ujjain, Rohtak, and many other states and cities come to this station.
The station comprises many other facilities such as railway wifi, food joints, refreshments stalls, parking, etc. the station building is also well maintained and clean. There are 2 gardens are also is planted near the station which adds on terrific beauty of the station.
