  • Bharat Milap: The place with extreme divinity which witnessed the Milap of Bharat, Lord Rama and Lakshmana. It’s the sight where Bharata is said to have met Rama to persuade him to return to the throne of Ayodhya. It was said that the milap was so emotional that the rocks and mountains started to melt The Bharat Milap Mandir has footprints of the brothers and Devi Sita.
  • Janaki Kund: During the exile period, it was said that the Devi Sita bathed in the Mandakini River.  This kund is a tourist spot today.
  • Hanuman Dhara: It is said that the hanuman dhara was created by Rama to assuage Hanuman. It is temple situated on the hill top and there is a collection of 3-4 temples.
  • Ram Shaiya: Between the Chitrakoot and Bharat Koop lies the Ram Shaiyya. It is said that the place where Shri Ram, Sitaji and Laxmanji used to sleep and rest after wandering in the jungles of Chitrakoot.
