Cuttack is a railway junction located in the city of Cuttack in the Indian state of Oddisa. The station connects the city with the rest of the Indian regions via Indian railway network system. The station falls under the fare zone of East coastal railways and it is administered under the care of Khurda Road railway division. The station serves several railway lines to connect the city with the different parts of nearby places of Oddisa and the state outside.The railway junction of Cuttack serves mainly these three railway lines in order to connect the Cuttack with different cities of India. These railway lines are – 1. Kharagpur-Puri Line 2. Cuttack Paradip line and 3.Cuttack –Sambalpur Railway line. All of the trains from these lines pass through the Cuttack and thus connect several cities with the city of Cuttack.

The station building looks like the Rajputana Fort. The structure of the entry premise of the station is very beautiful and it has been constructed in the form of a fort which gives a glorious look to the Station premises.
