Dausa railway station is located in the district of Dausa in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Dausa is the city and administrative seat of the district Dausa. The city of Dausa is well known as “Dev Nagari” in Rajasthan. The city is located on Jaipur-Agra national Highway. The station is located at a distance of just 55 kilometers from the pink city of Jaipur.

The city of Dausa is well famous for many reasons but Getolav bird habitat is the main attraction of the city. The city is surrounded by the 5 famous temples of Lord Shiva from 5 direction as Neelkanth temple, Sahajnath Tempel, Gupteshwar , somnath and Baijnath temple. It is believed that due to surrounding by the major Shiva temples of the country, the place was named as “Dausa” means “beautiful like heaven”.

Dausa is very famous for sandstone carving. The idols, statues and other arts of stone carving are very famous in the national and international boundaries.

Gatelov bird habitat is an important tourist spot in the district of Dausa. The bird sanctuary is home to more than 100 species of migratory birds. The mysterious “Chand boari” a step well that is believed to be built overnight by a Jinni is one of the most visited places in the District of Dausa. Temples like Nilkantheshwar, Panch Dev temple and Somnath temple attracts thousands of Shiva devotees around the corners of the world to the city of Dausa.
