Food Delivery in Train at Dausa

Dausa railway station is located in the district of Dausa in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The station is a very important railway station in the city of Dausa as it connects the place with railway services. The station is well connected with several parts of India. The station of Dausa with one more railway station lying in the district serves the city with the railway connectivity form rest of the Indian states and cities. The station falls under the North Western railways and it is administered under Jaipur division of Indian Railways. The station lies on Delhi-Ahmedabad railway route and also serves Delhi-Jaipur and Agra – Jaipur railway route of Indian railways transportation system.

About the city

Dausa is the city and administrative seat of the district Dausa. The city of Dausa is well known as “Dev Nagari” in Rajasthan. The city is located on Jaipur-Agra national Highway. The station is located at a distance of just 55 kilometers from the pink city of Jaipur.

The city of Dausa is well famous for many reasons but Getolav bird habitat is the main attraction of the city. The city is surrounded by the 5 famous temples of Lord Shiva from 5 direction as Neelkanth temple, Sahajnath Tempel, Gupteshwar , somnath and Baijnath temple. It is believed that due to surrounding by the major Shiva temples of the country, the place was named as “Dausa” means “beautiful like heaven”.

Dausa is very famous for sandstone carving. The idols, statues and other arts of stone carving are very famous in the national and international boundaries.

There are a number of temples and other tourism hot spot are located in the city which attracts thousands of tourists every year in the district of Dausa. Gatelov bird habitat is an important tourist spot in the district of Dausa. The bird sanctuary is home to more than 100 species of migratory birds. Abhaneri is another tourism hot spot is located in the Dausa district. Medieval period structures are located at this place. The mysterious “Chand boari” a step well that is believed to be built overnight by a Jinni is one of the most visited places in the District of Dausa. Temples like Nilkantheshwar, Panch Dev temple and Somnath temple attracts thousands of Shiva devotees around the corners of the world to the city of Dausa.
