Deoriasadar is the major railway station of Deoriya district serving the city and nearby villages. The station is located in the district of Deoriya in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The station is operated by the northeastern railways under the local administration of Varanasi railway division of Indian Railways. The station serves the city and district of Deoriya with IRCTC train connectivity network. The station is located on Delhi Kanpur-Gorakhpur -Hajipur-Barauni-Kolkata main line of Indian railway line which is also credited as the busiest railway line of Indian railways. About the City
Deoriya is a city and District in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The city was part of Gorakhpur district till 1946. After that, the city was declared independent. There are a number of temples are located in the city and most probably that’s why the city was named as “Deoriya”. The city has been also an active place during the time of the freedom struggle of India and the in the leadership of many regional leaders.

There are mainly religious places such as temples and mosques are located in the city. Temples like Dugdheshar Nath temple and Deoraha Baba Ashram are the most visited places in the city.
