Kiul junction is a railway junction located on the banks of Kiul River in the district of Lakhisarai in the Indian state of Bihar. The station is a very important part of East central railway zone under the administration of Danapur division of Indian railways. All of the Patna and Barauni bound trains to pass by this railway station and also most of them stop here. The station serves many railway lines which help in an interconnecting different area of Indian cities with Patna and Barauni railway rote. The railway pathway (tracks) run alongside the GT road (Grand truck road) and thus connects several states and their cities with each other. There are several railway lines and sections cross by the junction of Kiul in order to make railway transportation network with metropolitan cities of India. All of the Patna and Barauni bound trains coming from Howrah (West Bengal), Ranchi (Jharkhand) and Tatangar stops at the station of Kiul junction.
The railway junction at Kiul serves many railway lines such as Howrah-Delhi main line which interconnects the cities of West Bengal to the cities and localities of Delhi via Bihar and Din Dayal Upadhyay junction (Mughal Sarai) and al the in-between stations.
