The train starts its journey by departing Ahmedabad Junction station at 18:00. In its first day of journey the train crosses five stations in which Surat and Bharuch Junction are the major stations halting in the night. Further the train continues its journey on second day journey by departing Nandurbar Junction at 00:45. It crosses 24 stations from which some of the major stations are  Bhusaval Junction, Badnera Junction,  Wardha Junction, Nagpur, Gondia Junction, Raipur Junction , Titlagarh, Kantabanji and Rayagada.

After, departing from Nandurbar Junction it reaches at Bhusaval Junction at 04:30. The train halts here for 10 minutes. The train reaches Badnera Junction at 08:00 in the morning.
