Durg Hamsafar Express: Train Overview
Durg Hamsafar Express 22868 is one of the luxurious and modern trains of Indian railways that run between Delhi to Durg. The train is counted among the luxurious trains plying from Delhi to Durg Railway station transferring thousands of passengers from Delhi, the national capital to Durg, the famous city located in the Indian state of Chhatisgarh. There are a number of facilities provided on board for the passenger's ease and comfort. If you are planning to travel by Durg Hamsafar Express, then you must book your tickets well in advance for ensuring the travel and can also book food for train journey in advance. 

The train is equipped with all facilities for the passengers to give classy travel experience. Almost all of the coaches are 3AC t on this train. There are CCTV cameras, E-LED screens are also installed in the compartments to show the train schedule and train speed to the passengers. Passengers can also check seat availability online and can book their tickets as per their choice. All of the Humsafar trains are decorated beautifully from outside as well as the interiors of the train coaches are crafted excellent. The wider windows, wide berths, bedrolls, bio-toilets, etc make it the perfect train for the long hours of journey. There is also tea/coffee and Milk vending machines installed in the train for the general passengers.

There is no pantry car is attached in the train but onboard meal facilities are provided by the railway management. The train starts from the railway station of Hazarat Nizamuddin Railway station by 08:25 Hrs in the early morning one day one. New Delhi and Durg is located at a distance of 1275 kilometers from each other.  While journeying from Delhi to Durg, the train passes by the states of New Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Chhatisgarh. The train takes its first halt at the railway station of Mathura after departing the railway station of Hazrat Nizzamudin Railway junction.
