MANGALA LDWEEP- 12617: Train Overview
The train Mangla Lakshadeep Express is the superfast train that runs from Kerala, Ernakulam Railway station to Delhi. The train originates from Ernakulam Junction and terminates ta the station of Hazarat Nizamuddin Railway station. The train is equipped with all the major facilities onboard for providing luxury, comforts, and ease to the passengers. Both of the towns are located at a great distance and the train covers the distance in 49 hours (Maximum) to reach the destination.
There are 2AC, 3AC and sleeper coaches attached in the train for the reservation purpose. The passengers can reserve the train tickets in these specified coaches according to the travel preferences. Unreserved coaches are also available in the train which is comparatively cheaper than reserved class tickets where the passengers can accommodate for the journey.
The passengers are provided onboard facilities such as AC coaches, Bedrolls, Electric fans, charging points and washroom according to the specific coach standards. The train has also a pantry car which serves food and drinks to the passengers however if the passenger wishes to order food in train then they can avail meals on their seats from IRCTC-catering services. The train takes 3 days to reach Delhi from Ernakulum Junction Railway station. The train departs the railway station of Ernakulam Junction by 13:15 hrs on day one and terminates at the station of Hazrat Nizamuddin Junction on day 3 of the journey by 13:15 Hrs. The Train covers the distance of 3066 kilometers of the journey distance from Kerala to Delhi.
