The train starts from the railway station of Hazarat Nizamuddin around 15:35 Hrs in the evening on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday of a week. The train runs on its scheduled time so the passengers must accommodate in the train before its scheduled departure from the home station. The train makes its very first halt at the railway station of Mathura Junction after completing the journey of 134 kilometers away from the origin station. Here at Mathura Junction, the train stops for 2 minutes and then moves forward.  During its journey from Delhi to Mumbai, the train passes by the locations of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat and then enters into the Indian state of Maharashtra marking its first halt at Borivali station. The train approaches at Bandra Terminus around 08:10 Hrs in the morning on the 2nd day of the journey and terminates its journey here.
